Some of you may remember that I had been offered a barn to convert into stables so I could fulfil my dream of having riding stables and offer CHEAP riding holidays (as I remember as a child how expensive they were and with non-horsy parents not wanting to pay out so much i only went on a couple)

Well on my quest to find the right premises– I have been offered a horse ‘stadium’ – back in the 60’s it was a running concern, but lately it has only been used once a year for competitions – its set on just over 40 acres – has a huge open air jumping arena, a sand schooling ring, and dressage ring and a small race track – woods are around it so great for a cross country course – also has the frame for an indoor school. Wonderful off road hacking ... its horsey and riders heaven!!!

Looks like i will be taking over in september .. yay!!!!

So any of you fancy a 'hands on' holiday with loads of riding ( i say 'hands on' as i'll be building the cross country course and generally getting sorted if you want to muck in no problem :-)) - i'll be taking limited bookings for the end of september - You'll have the choice to either stay with us as part of the family or stay in your own room on site. Sorry no complete novices just yet, but would be great for building confidence.

Email me for a chat if you want? .

Thank you all for your replys

Hopefully by next spring/summer having non horsey family members shouldn't be a problem as we are planning in having a driving range, fishing, tennis, swimming pool etc, etc so lots of other things for non horsey family members to do as well :D
