thank you:) yeh, his jump is amazing, he is only *just* 15hh but he is a little powerhouse. I found out he had been over jumped though by previous owners and soured:( I've learned to sit a few seriously scary stops:eek::rolleyes: Explains a few things to me and Im just concentrating on him having confidence in me that I wont push him too far and keeping it all fun.... yeh, he loves his stable :) thanks again:)

I have to ask though, is his grackle crooked or are my glasses acting up? I think it's the glasses to be honest, my son threw rice all over them.

He's already got nice snappy knees, however you could really improve his bascule if you work on getting him to release his neck over the fence. Basically if he releases his neck, and starts stretching down, it'll allow him to really get his shoulders out of the way. Gathering him some more into a really collected bouncy canter, then stretching and releasing his neck should get him to crack his back like a real pro and bring him up a level :D

yes, lol, it is:D:o i put a note on the video about it - he had rubbed on me before i got on in the field. i was on my own and fiddleing with jumps, setting up camera on a fencepost etc, and i didnt notice til we'd finished that he's made it squint, he he!

thank you for you lovely comments - yep, i agree about the neck, we're working on it:) To be honest - it used to be a lot worse and its something ive been trying to work on, so hopefully we're heading in the right direction.:)

ha ha, not sure we want to move up a level... had just got confident over 2ft6 courses... the pallets are about 2ft10... but we just won a BHS XC qualifier on Sun so have qualified for the BHS Championships:eek: that course will be 2ft 9 so I might not have a lot of choice in the matter....
