My new showjumping course, and the boys jumping it. (pics)

All of my jumps have had a bit of a re-furb, and i've made every attempt to make them as scarey as possible for Lantern. Here they are...

So anyway i thought i'd take Lantern round them first, this is the first time i've jumped him in the hackamore and the first time he's seen fillers in a while. I wasn't expecting much, quite a few refusals etc like normal. But i let him see them and he walked straight upto them when normally he'd of needed encouragement to get within 5foot. Then i started jumping, not only was he actually TAKING me to the fences he did not refuse one jump!! :-D:-D:-D

The scariest jumps I've ever known had silouettes of horses on them, the other had a set of cats eyes!! They had to be repainted in the end there was so many complaints!!

I thought you were going to jump the height shown in the fifth pic and was in awe :p. They really are both looking great, and I love lantern's droopy lip!! The scariest filler I've jumped is yellow with an outline of a black spider on it. I'm not actually scared of spiders, but I hate jumping it :o

Best jump Ive seen is one with Cd's all over the wings!
Or one with Welles hanging of the poles (Olympia!)

Thanks guys, i am going to paint some more fillers. But for now they'll do considering he wouldn't jump a red and white pole a few months ago!!!!

Lol, his lip is so funny. The vet came to give him his jabs the other day and he was woblbing it when she injected him, she thought it was funny.

Yellow with a black spider? Spiders look okay as stick spiders so i may be able to manage that! Got a load more things to paint etc yet :D

ETA sugarlump, he has jumped that height btw... that was last year i haven't tried it since as i've concentrated on technique rather than height :)

Lol, his lip is so funny, it's even worse when your moving he just leaves it and it flops all over the place :o Nim is ace, he just loves it but he does drag me at every fence but he is so so careful, he never wants to touch them!!

Now, a question and a slightly waggy finger ... what was Nimby doing that has made you start jumping ahead / getting your butt 3ft out of the saddle, hey ? Is this some nervous grippy knee thing I'm seeing ? Cos you never normally do that, you know.
