OK guys, Ive had some really shocking news this morning and i have got to do what i said i would never in a million years do!!!!!
SELL ALL MY HORSES!!!!!!
:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
but Im starting to get on a bit and i have to be incredibly mature and strong about things and think about the rest of my life and where it may/may not go.
Please dont start saying that things cant be that bad or i should reconsider or give it a bit of time to re-think as i cant. This is absolutely devastating beyond anything i could imagine and I dont have a clue how on earth im going to survive it. I havent stopped crying and throwing up all morning. My heart is well and truely shattered. They are part of my soul.
I want them all to go at once so that i dont have to go to the yard and one be missing as i wouldnt cope.
This is the post i never thought i would be writing and it has broken me.

I know this must be hard but what are the horses? Someone on here may be able to offer a good home?

its easy for me to say, not knowing the reasons why, but there must be another way. any other way. if there is no chance, then im really sorry. its every owners worst nightmare. especially if it is a sudden decision, not one you've had to mull over for weeks or months & had time to come to terms with.

sky, 16.3hh, 4yrs old last march. ID X TB
Broken and been hacking out and has seen everything. Goes first/middle/last. Been lunged/long-reined over trotting poles and small jumps (1ft) and over puddles/ditches in preparation for XC which is where i was aiming her towards. never spooky or silly but has go if you want her to. Absolutely brilliant to shoe/load/clip/bath and anything else. Doesnt have any faults or vices and has manners to die for. A right clown and plays with everything in sight!!!!

jerry, 15.3hh, 3yrs old last may. ID X TB stallion
bitted, saddled and has been sat on. Absolutely impeccable manners and completely controllable even walking past in season mares. never served. Lightly lunged in full tack and over over trotting poles, small jumps (1ft) and over puddles/ditches. Very light to handled/lead. Perfect to box/ clip and everything else the same as sky.
Very forward going and always alert and i have never met such an intelligent horse. He thrives on learning and picks things up very quickly but also gets bored if not stimulated and played with. Very much a mummies boy. Has been seen to weave last year but he has a weave grill up and i havent seen it since.

charlie, 16hh, 3yrs old last march, ID X TB/clydesdale stallion
looks much more clydie that anything else and has the typical daft goofy chilled out clydie temperament. a great big daft cuddly teddy bear!!!!! will do anything for a cuddle and loves being messed with. bitted, saddled and sat on. Same as the others regarding manners, clipping/loading/spooking etc. lunged over poles/ditches etc. perfectly controllable around in season mares. never served.

sisco, 13.2hh bay roan, 12 last april, Welsh type gelding
Mst definately NOT first or second or third pony!!!!!
absolutely incredible jump, Has been loose jumping 4ft 8" but has issues with being ridden!!!!!
Beaten as a foal and then a couple of good homes where he competed at a very high level. then fell into some bad hands and was badly beaten again. Has major trust issues with anybody new and retreats into himself. can take a while to win him round. When i got him in november he had hurt his back in a fall but has had vet and physio throughout winter and has been given the all clear twice. Remembers that riding equals pain as previous owner kept riding him through his injuries so we are working on re-backing him....slowly!!!
Has been long reined tacked up, sat on and walked round but is still a bit nervous. Very patient and understanding owner needed. Brilliant to bath/load/catch/farrier but is petrified of clippers as previous owner battered him with a sweeping brush when he wouldnt stand still to be clipped.

I am really sorry to read this, you have 4 lovely horses, if your stallions have good breeding perhaps loaning to stud?

I'm really sorry to read this, I have no idea what has happened but whatever it is "hugs" and I hope things improve.
How quickly do you need them to go, I can ask around.
I do know a few dealers but the good ones wouldn't take all of your horses. They wouldn't want to take stallions in and your gorgeous pony probably has too many issues. The ones I know who would take them I wouldn't let anything go to.

Shame you are so far away as I probably have the perfect home for the little welsh lad.

there's manchester equestrian centre which is based in Urmston,as the owner there [his name is willy tuft if remember correctly but its been a long time] is a dealer, will have to do own research on him as a dealer though, as rarely saw him and didn't buy/sell any horses through him,ME was a decent enough stables back then.

I know of one dealer in Manchester, Cobs 'n' Plods they're called. My sister has bought a horse of them :D He's lovely :)
But yeah, If you search for them on google they'll come up :)
Good Luck with everything, I'm sorry you've had to sell your horses :(

What sort of prices are you looking at for each of them?
I will ask about for you :)

Oh goodness, how awful for you. Whatever has happened, I hope you manage to get through it and look after yourself.
The only dealer out your way that I know of is Astrid Bolton (you can google her and it will bring up her site). On her site she tends to focus on imported dressage horses and certainly that is what she is known for, but that's not to say she doesn't deal with other types too, maybe with a call.
Best wishes.

Vicky Yoxall is good and they are nice, i got my pony from them and i talk to their daughter on facebook :p but i dont think they would take stallions. Maybe the welsh cross though? They would love her!

I'm so sorry to read of this, and understand how awful this must be for you, to have four must mean most of every day is committed to them.
Given Sisco's past would you consider putting him on project horse? Do you have enough time or flexibility to allow that? Can anyone help with grazing while you sort him/them out? I would think the mare will be ok, she's looks a real sweetie and sounds to be coming on nicely. The stallies might be more problematic, is there any chance of gelding before sale?

Huge hugs to you, you must be in bits and I am so deeply sorry to hear your news. I wish I'd got the winning ticket tonight to help you
Beautiful horses and hope so much some one on here can help. Guess loaning is a definite no then?

I guess you have already considered.... but does it have to be a long term thing??
Is there no way you could loan them out for a lil while until you get things sorted.
It must be heartbreaking for you.

Whilst I appreciate your sentiment about not wanting to see them go etc., if you actually did care about them, it should be easier to sell them to good homes than send them off to an unknown fate at a dealer, particularly as two are entire males and one a nervous one!

If theres any way you'd be interested in a long term loan, i'd be very interested in your first horse? If you want to discuss please PM me.
I guess you might need the money, however, just a thought?
I cant imagine how you're feeling, buet admire you for being strong.
