In light of ChickyD's thread I thought I would post an update for those of you that remember me and anyone else who may be interested. I have only been a member since 2006, actually probably 2005 but under an old name, anyway, not sure that really makes me that much of a golden oldie but hey ho.
Anyway, I still have Bryony, despite various mutterings of loaning her so I could get a youngster or a slightly bigger allrounder. I think I am finally at peace with what I have in Bryony. She is still a mardy old moo and still tries to rip my arm off when I tack her up and do up her girth. She still stomps around like a demented elephant and likes to gallop everywhere. So whats changed, she has always been like this....well, I had a baby in January and I am now thanking my lucky stars I have such a reliable fun pony who doesn't need bringing on or constant work but is always waiting to be my companion when I can find time in my hectic life to ride her. I do get to ride approx 3-4 times a week so its not quite dire just yet!!
I moved to a new yard a few months ago and was very lucky to have some friends move to. From my point of view withg my new hectic schedule I can now hack out for an hour and every ride I go on has fab canter stretches and normally there is no que for the school should I decide to stay in as we have 2 of them.
I am hoping to get back out and do a bit of winter dressage with Bry, just for fun really, time providing ofcourse!!
Anyway, some pics of my girlie.
