Still haven't got a horse!
We did find a horse we liked...beautiful to look at, nice to ride, owner was vary honest and up-front with us....seemed ideal. Then we had her vetted....passed vetting but she was different horse...on edge and difficult to ride...she even put in a couple of bucks....to be fair, she had to go to a different yard as the school at her home yard was being repaired so it was a bit strange to her and it was quite windy, but even so....
The owner seemed as surprised at her behavior as us, but agreed that it was probably best if we did not take her bearing in mind our problems with our last horse, so all it has cost us is the vetting and a bit (lot) of fuel.
Now we are looking again and, as usual, there does not seem to be anything suitable within reasonable distance!! Getting bored now scanning the Internet ad pages ( horsemart, horsedeals, horsequest, horse & hound, BD, Pony Club etc)
