did anyone see it? the bit about the poor horses found starving in a stud in walkes, owned my a dawn rose, i think they name is? she was banned for 10 years from owning horses. Its dusgusting, poor pones were foraging for food in there own dirt:mad:
a lovley wee pony called mist survived, he was like a skeleton and his legs could barely hold him up:mad:
70 horses were rescued, 3 died!

Ano it was awful :( 10 years from not owning horses is just not ENOUGH! should be more like a life sentence in jail with no food and sitting in her own excrement :mad: and that's still not good enough for her!!!

poor misty :(

Yes i just don't get it - she KNEW she had done wrong, she had a bloody scarf over her face!
If you cant keep them well and happy - dont keep them at all!

apparently she was depressed, and new things were getting out of hand...no bloody excuse though is it?:mad:

That made me so mad. I don't know how these judges who pass down these sentences sleep at night I honestly don't. According to the news that pony was the worst emaciated pony, dead or alive, that the RSPCA had ever seen and she was just banned for 10 years and no jail sentence!!!! Bearing this in mind and the sheer number of other horses involved, I would have thought a lifetime ban would have been more like it and a pretty lengthy jail term. Absolutely disgusting and sends out completely the wrong message. I just despair

not an excuse at all. judging by the state of those poor darlings she was "depressed" for a very long time. she had plenty of time to find those horses new homes or handed them to a rescue sanctuary before they got into that state
