Hi
I'm quite new to this site, so I thought I'd say hello. I've recently moved to Cambridgeshire from Kent, and also recently acquired my new horse. He goes by the name of Steve Bonnetiere and he's a 3yo French Trotter.
I wonder if anyone can give me their opinion on which insurer to go with for Steve? It's a while since I insured a horse, and I know insurance can be a bit hit and miss, so any experiences you have would be useful when I come to choose.;)
Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting to know this forum and taking advantage of all the great advice etc I'm sure is available on here!:D

I'm with Stoneways and they were very quick sorting my claim. I had a follow up vets bill which they acknowledged the next day and confirmed the money would be in my account within 10 days from then - it was! :)
Not the cheapest but seem to be very efficient.
Look forward to seeing what Steve looks like....where did the name come from?

Thanks for the info re Insurance.
Steve Bonnetiere is his TF studbook name, his Daddy was a winning racer (trotting) and Grandad was an American trotter who was a bit of a legend in the world of trotting apparently! :D
Not sure why Steve got discarded so young, he's never raced, and was possibly going to end up on someone's plate:eek:
Anyway, he's mine now, and here he'll stay:D

hehe! It is an unusual name for a horse I must admit! I know quite a few Steves - so I have to be careful what I say about Steve in certain company! LOL!:D
