I have a new share!! Meet Ludo *pics*

i look like this right now :D

After losing Sam ive been desperately trying to find a new horse, been to see a few that havent been right and had owners cancel :mad:

But today i went to see Ludo, hes a 15.3hh standardbred and hes gorgeous :D went for a hack around a field on him and tried out every pace! i say EVERY because he paces! His owners trying to train him to stop really because you ask for trot and he paces for a while first, didnt bother me in the slightest it was quite fun to be honest! Just looked odd! had a canter and a gallop all very well controlled, hes got the fastest walk ever though! So eager and ears pricked always! :) Hes very loving and loves cuddles, i am so glad i found him! Really looking forward to getting to know him, hes a jumper too (hoorah!!) im hoping we can go to many a show together!

Congratulations! I have a standardbred pacer and it's uncanny how similar they look. Connor trots most of the time but I can usually get him to pace with a bit of encouragement, it's quite fun :D

Do you know his pedigree name? If he's registered with STAGBI (Standardbred and Trotting horse Association of Greabt Britain and Ireland) you can look up his pedigree on their website http://www.standardbred.org/

Yeah his owner said other sharers have left because they didnt like his pacing, i had no problem with it at all!! and he doesnt take much encouragement to trot instead!

LOL, my share horse does that, although it's more like almost pushing me over than a nuzzle!! :rolleyes:

Well me and his owner have decided to take him to some clear round jumping tomorrow which im really excited about! Throwing myself right in at the deep end, at least if i decide i dont want to his owner will still jump him :)

Will get pics (and videos of the pacing!!)
