Damn- lame horse?

I thought my horse felt a bit off when i rode him on Wednesday- then a friend schooled him yesterday and said he felt stiff and not very willing, so i called his very good back lady- who is getting back to me today to arrange.

But... just got a text off another livery owner to say he trotted up the field lame just now (but cantered back down if before she had a chance to look:rolleyes:)

Nooooo- he's going so well at the moment, I need to leave work RIGHT now and go see him!:o

Just popped up :o
Cant see anything obvious and he dosent do trotting up (sooo yesterday!)
so not sure although he was a bit funny on it when i turned him to attempt to trot back to the gate??

Now not sure- was going to ride him out tonight, what would you do?

I wouldn't ride if you're not sure. If he doesn't feel right then there's something up. Better to give a few days and see if he comes ok than aggravate something and make it worse. :)
