I wondered if anyone knew if Lorraine at Rawreth Equetrian still runs RDA there. Or if there are any local yards in Essex that currently run RDA lessons.

The reason I ask is because I was considering volunteering, if I can find somewhere which fits in around my job.

Some of the places I used to work did RD and I use to help as part of my work. The beneits to the riders were amazing. I always found it very rewarding and think this would be a good way of both being around horses again and contibuting to a great organisation.

Any info appreciated.

Go to http://www.rda.org.uk/Locations.aspx?Area=En and search your local area. All the RDA member groups will be listed there.

Sadlers Farm RDA runs sessions on a saturday, they are based just off the A127 by the A130 junction. Also Southend RDA operate at Belfairs Stables on a tuesday I think.

I used to be an instructor and trustee for Sadlers Farm - you can get in touch with them at www.sadlersfarmgroup.ik.com.

As far as I know there was never an official group at Rawreth, but I don't know if some form of disabled riding lessons are going on there now.
