Really pleased with my lesson tonight, rode Shar who I've ridden before and didn't particuarly like but she's changed my opinion tonight :) She was really good! Offered an outline most of the time and did nice loops of counter canter if the numpty on board could steer properly :p

Was shattered by the end, spent most of the lesson in canter, Shar on the other hand only had a light sweat:rolleyes:

Pretty chuffed :) Now if only my hands would go in the right place..:o

Also, RI mentioned they loan out the RS horses for £40 a week, does that sound reasonable to you? Apparently on friday, saturday and sunday you are free to do what you like with them. Don't know full details of the loan but am having a ponder ;)

you both look fab :)

where i am - its £20 per day per horse  so yes £40 for 3 days? is reasonable....

but apparantly we can compete on ours too.... hopefully you can do the same if you wanted too at that price??

You look fabulous :D Very jealous of the apparent quality of your lessons, it's more 'do your own thing' around here

Awwww thanks guys :D Yeah I think my RI mentioned to my friend who was videoing that we can go and compete on them, which I'd love to have a go at, I think I just need to get more details and learn to drive quickly ;)

Looks great!! What a nice pony :) Only thing i would say is try not to nag with your legs as much. £40 for 3 days sounds brilliant by the way!

Yeahh I think it really is a good deal :) Especially as a lesson there is £20, will ask about it next week :)

Yeahh I know I was :\ Thing is she's the type of horse that won't work properly unless you really make her the RI said at the beginning of the lesson, the last time I rode her I couldn't get any shape at all so I was really trying to push her into the contact, most of the video is from the beginning of the lesson too as it got too dark to film so I hope that was just me fiddling trying to find out how she works.

Excuses, excuses :p Sorry!

Wow you looked great together, I am exhausted watching :D :D

Loan idea sounds fab & a bargain! Plus the quality of those horses are schoolmasters! Great opportunity if can sort logistics otherwise will help you :)
