Argh :mad: Not happy..

I left my body protector at the yard one night and it disappeared. I thought maybe someone had borrowed it and it'd turn up but it hasn't :( I've been jumping and doing xc without it, BUT now I need one for college next week or I can't have jumping lessons. ARGH.

I'd get one off ebay but it HAS to be shorter length (or just xl kids I guess..) but I need a body protector for cheap. 33/34 inch chest (83 - 87cm) and 27 - 28 inch waist ( 69 - 72cm)

is anyone selling one? or want to find me one? ahh :(

Ohh I'm sorry to hear that :( I don't leave anything at the yard anymore, things just "go missing" too easily!

Have you asked around at the yard? It's not impossible someone could have borrowed it and put it somewhere, or seen it and picked it up to look after? :o No? I really hope someone hasn't just come along and taken it... :mad: Surely anyone who was around at your yard would also ride at your yard? You'd have to be pretty stupid to steal yourself something only to parade it at the place you stole it from, keep an eye out.

Otherwise, is there one you could borrow short-term, just for your lesson? From a friend of generous acquaintance? Seems a real shame to have to spend all that money again :(

Agree with Laurrie - can you have a word with the YO, and put a sign up on the noticeboard asking if anyone has seen your BP, and if anyone finds it "lying around" could they leave it in your stable or whatever. Its amazing how things that seem to have grown legs and walked away can find their way back when you suggest a discreet place for them to be left.
