Looking for Grass livery local to Barnet. Would consider Totteridge/Borehamwood, and further out into herts.
If possible can you include details of facilities/price and contact no :D
Thanks guys!!!

Mote End, Mill Hill, v expensive. Arkley-DIY only, I think. Frith Manor-Finchley way. All on internet. Edgewarebury Farm-just pst Mill Hill. Are you in Barnet itself? It took me maybe 20 minutes to Edgewarebury-nice hacking/boxes/shop on site but very popular.

Hi
I moved my horse at the weekend out of London up to Hertfordshire so did quite a bit of research.
I assume you are looking for grass livery because you need 24/7 turnout which is really difficult to find. I only needed daily turnout so had more choice.
I will try and dig out my list of places at the weekend but from memory in Herts, I think Smug Oak does grazing only and Park Farm in Northaw.
However I didn't visit either of these so can't tell you what they are like.
SO1 on here is on grass livery up by Chorleywood so she may be able to help.

the only one with turnout 24/7 all year is the LEC. frith dont do grass livery, neither does arkley view (have heard awful stuff about their turnout situation eg. sounds pretty random!), mote end is horribly expensive and dont do grass as such either. burtonhole (where i used to be!) only has 24/7 turnout half the year ... what about where alwaysfallingoff used to keep max? barnet riding centre or whatever that was called?

Smug Oak has amazing hacking literally across the road-no indoor school but good outdoors. Tack shop on same road-partly adjoined. There's also Hanstead Livery on Drop Lane-no indoor, right by the river/woods and there's McClellan's (sp?) yard where my vet is, but I think they're a bit far from Barnet-maybe 30-35 mins drive.
In Borehamwood, there's Strangeways-dunno if they do grass livery and another one in Borehamwood with fab hacking, can't remember the name, will ask a mate who's there.

what about strangeways? have heard good things about them? are you mostly after grass livery or do you need facilities as well? i do know that finding actual grass livery is a b*tch around there :o for the whole year, anyways!

Don't know Hanstead but none of the others offer grass livery.
Also visited alot of them so if you want pluses and minuses of any of these PM me.
If you are looking for grass livery to turn your horse away for a few months there is also Pages Farm.
The other one in Borehamwood could be Cowley Hill but they don't do grass livery either.

Hanstead is a small RS-lovely and just down the road from Smug Oak. Dunno if they do grass livery.
It was Cowley Hill, thanks, was driving me mad!

And if you don't mind travelling a bit, there's Coltspring RS/livery near Sarratt and Rose's Livery nearby. I'mnot sure re grass livery, sorry. There's also Caldecote in Bushey-they don't normally do grass only but if you speak to Ed, the owner (Stable Life), he may be persuaded.

Another one that came up when I was looking was Slopers Pond Farm up towards Stagg Hill. I know it has a school and daily turnout but not sure if they offer 24 hour turnout.
