We have decided to enter Star and Lizzie for a dressage comp at our local RC on 20th September. She and Star have never done one before so she will be doing the walk, trot test.
She has to take Star as there are some inhand showing classes for Royal London qualifiers and I would like to take Star and Sov for the Championships next summer and its only a two horse box (sister is taking Seren as well). Also Star is much younger than mony and has more impulsion and fluidity in her movements. So this week Lizzie and I will be learning the test she is doing.
If they do well and enjoy it we will look to competing more in the dressage competitions next year.
I am looking forward to it now, been years since any of our ponies have done dressage comps!
