I always thought Remmy was but it doesn't say 'Moderator' under their name, which is a bit confusing!

Well, on the bottom of the forum homepage there is a link that says "View forum leaders (http://www.newrider.com/forum/showgroups.php)."

This is supposed to list ALL the moderators and admins, though it doesn't have all the names that were listed in this thread. I suppose the moderator group is not their primary group, dunno why the admin has them 'hidden'. It's kind of stupid because if someone has a problem they don't know who-all they should talk to.

For a while, I did some forum archiving and so had moderator access on the forum... but for admin purposes only. So you're not going mad and yes for a while it did say moderator under my name :)
