Does anyone know if there is a maximum height allowed for horses competing in Pony Club events?

depend son teams and age. general competitions no.

but if i am right which i *think* i am then excluding mounted games coz im not sure about taht,

if you are over 12, your pony must be over 12.2 and over 14 your pony must be over 13.2.

i know there are weight restrictiosn for mounted games and i think senior teams you ahev to ahve a horse. what discipline and age are you and what height horse do you have?

Sorry this isn't in response to your question but is PC related...

Is Pony Club still for people under 21 years of age? I can't remember if that's right? :confused::o As I'm 17 and wandering when I'll be too old ;) I know it's not yet, but for future reference......

Pony club for under 25's so you are well under the age criteria. Re pony heights, doesnt really matter about size except for certain area team competitions where they must be ponies (ie 14.1 ish and under)

There are no rules regarding heights in area eventing, dressage, sj &, tetrathlon. Most of the ones competing at open (1.10m) or intermediate (1m) tend to be horses infact! Not sure about the rules regarding mounted games, it's a lot easier if you're on a pony for that even if horses are allowed :)

When I was at pony club there were no height restrictions, but you had to be under a certain weight if you were on smaller ponies :rolleyes:, I only know this as my old yo used to always weigh me before sending me to pony club on the little ones to teach them not to ditch the kids from the yard :rolleyes:
