Just to give you an update on Nottingam - the horse I swapped for a lorry :D
He's a beautiful horse and not at all nasty but the last owners I think have not handled him much – out of the stable he has no manners at all, rears when lead, I also think that they were quite rough with him as if you raise your voice slightly to tell him off, he cringes and jumps back - its like he’s expecting to be hit  etc, etc BUT already he is settling down. :D
He seems to have so much pent up nervous energy that we are turning him out everyday to just let him chill and have a little holiday before I start working him, half way through the day I catch him and groom him and lead round the field a bit – then let him go back to chilling.
These pictures are of him today in the field
