Can anyone recommend waterproof jacket and trousers suitable for riding in. Just preparing for the dreaded winter!
Really just needs to be waterproof and not too bulky. Does not need to be thermal or anything as I always finish schooling looking like I'v spent an hour at the gym:eek:

This might sound daft but have you tried salopettes/ski pants?

On the swap shop section there are some florescent waterproof full chaps, good for schooling in the rain and hacking out

Just saw this. If its not too late, buy a really cheap pair of waterproof trousers (I managed to get decathlon biggest size kids) and chop the bum out so you don't get slippy bum syndrome.
I swear by mine, and much cheaper than waterproof chaps!

and from the long range weather forecast issued by the met office today, it's going to be a mild and wet winter so you're going to need them! Though that probably means we'll have a heatwave in December! LOL :p
