Im currently doing a life saving course at my local high school swimming pool. its ran by local council life gaurds.

anyways.... tonight weve been told next week we can ( if we wish) take a partner along to demonstrate our mouth to mouth resus. and also show how we carry out cpr. they have rubber dollys for anybody who doesnt wish to take a living example. LOL

and i KNOW.... it isnt a snogging compeition.... but does it mean i SHOULD take a girl? Blahhhhhhhhhh or can i take a boy? and totally grosse out everybody else? LOL

( i feel in a funny situations about this)

p.s before anybody says.... i wont actually be carrying out REAL cpr on a person as this is dangerous to do so. it is basically just to demonstrate.

what do ya think girlies? x

I got the giggles when I did CPR with a person lmao. I HAD to use the dolly or my person would "die" because I couldn't do it right lmao.

Have fun!!

I really don't think anyone would think too much either way TBH,I appreciate you are thinking they would, but really think you're worrying about that un-necessarily.

When I have done my (many:rolleyes:) first aid courses I have often paired up with another lady,as have many others, and no-one has thought it was weird,or at least if they did they didn't say lol:p

Seriously no-one will think it's strange if you take another fella along,am sure many people will take a friend who is the same sex,so wouldn't worry about it.

Or just use those lovely 'life like' torso's they have for training purposes:p They really creep me out, they seem kind of scary somehow!!

Hate to disappoint you JR but they do mouth to mouth using a plastic mask thing :D so no need for mouth wash

I dont think you need to worry either way!! But what you said there did make me wonder- do people actually still get grossed out these days by men kissing (even if you were not doing cpr!) surely not- pretty pathetic and shocking if so Am surprised at peoples attitudes
