ive been looking at roses to plant on my old horses grave and there is one with his name which was created just before he was born!

Long story and a little OT but Ill do it quick.

Husband's Mum died, couple weeks later I find out Im pregant with our first. Mum's name was Elsie, which she hated, and always said if her parents had any sense they'd have swapped the s and i and made it Elise and that is what she would have liked her name to be. I had never heard the name before but liked it so as i knew we were having a girl we decided to call her Elise Yvonne as a tribute. Whilst pregnant that summer the Lotus Elise was launched and the Cure brought out a record entitled 'a letter to Elise'. How freaky was that!

Daughter is nearly 17 and we have only ever come across maybe a dozen other Elise's.

Loopy I dont beleive in fate or anything like that but I have to say, sometimes, it blooming well feels like it. Of course, you must get this rose - what a lovely tribute and reminder. Do you have a link to what it looks like?
