Well for those who have followed archies progress over the last few months, there looks like theres going to be a great out come. for those who dont know about him, he was sold and had a bad accident in the trailor, went down and had to be sedated and brought back to me (wasnt mine at the time) he was very lucky to come out of it with just very badly skinned hocks and tail, muscle wastage and swelling and a little stiffness, which a good rest and chiro has sorted. well after a few weeks of trailor training, he was put up for sale week friday and we had an email with in the hour, and she was the one whos buying him.
funny thing was as soon as i read the email i knew shed be the one to have him.
with out going into too much detail, the woman is lovely, has had horses all her life, worked 2.5 yr olds in a stud out in romania before coming over here so knows what to expect, she just lost her mare to a heart attack, bless her, and is looking for a forever horse.
he will be bordering the exmoors and a racing yard so will have lots of fun with them.
she even rode him bareback in the round pen, even after i explanied he had done nothing since the accident and only 2 weeks previous to that.
so fingers crossed all goes well with sorting out the money, he should be looking at a new home in the next week or two.
i am soooo chuffed, its been a long process and im so glad wev got this far, just got to keep fingers crossed he travels well, will prob put my little mare on with him so he has company for the 2 hour drive.
well done if you made it this far, and will keep you updated.
and just because you never need an excuse to post a pic or two, here he is :D
