I am currently insured with Julie Andrews with Scottish Equestrian. Found them to be really good but not had to claim yet *touch wood*

I had mine with KBIS, found them very easy to deal with, and very quick at paying out. Made three big claims within an insurance year, and they didn't even put my preimum up on renewal.

I'm with NFU.

Claimed with our old pony and they were fantastic.

NFU
Have claimed for two of our horses (one of them was a real prolonged case as well) and they have been prompt and excellent both times :)

I am with Petplan currently but looking to move.

I claimed a couple of years ago for a different horse and they were very good but this time they are being very awkward.

I was with NFU who were brilliant, when I had a claim ( over £4k ) they were very helpful, efficient and prompt at paying out, couldn't fault them.

When I came to re-new my policy it nearly doubled in price and with exclussions so I changed to Pet Plan who were very competitive but I have not, thankfully, had to make a claim from them so can't comment on their efficiancy :)

I'm with petplan and just had a claim over £2000 and they paid promptly. This was due to an accident though so there was no grey areas to dispute. No idea what they are like on illness but I have been told they are very good at paying up.
