Loooovely long day with RR and Duke! *MANY pics and vid!!*

You don't have to watch it all if you want you can stop at the plaiting bit as that goes on for quite a long time but I thought it was cute (: (Original clip is 20mins long! :eek:)

Yesterday me and RR had a lovely long day together (: 8 - 6ish :P Went to a tack shop sale where RR bought me some fabulous birthday presents xD Thank you chick!! And I also allowed her to get a gorgeous red rug for Duke, everything else had to be essential (; Muhaha, I'm mean but her bank account will thank me! :P

Then we went home and took McDukey out for a hack, he hadn't been out since monday so was a little excited but was calming down until we were about to canter for a third time and loads of people came onto the bridlepath, so I took Duke off on a little walk down the field and along another lane but this stressed him out a bit because he'd left RR behind so when we went for the 3rd canter he was trying for a gallop (not on video) so by the time RR got him to try and get her canter he was a bit tired! Not the best hack compared to last week but not too bad!

When we got back we gave Dukey a bath and then I plaited him up to try and tame it to the right side again, shame it's all different lengths, sweetich has meant he's rubbed it out ):

Then we let him have a chill in the field for a bit before having a go bareback in the school! He was a very good lad, camera battery died so not much of that though RR got some cute ones on her phone (: Tried a trot but found him very bouncy! Was scared of sliding off :P

Hehe, probably a good idea but his hair kind of curls in on itself when it's that short so it's actually even shorter than the plaits when not plaited so I think he'd look even more of a muppet :p

H4e888 manages to keep my rug addiction under control, although I now know her weakness for burgundy so may have a way round this ...... ;) :p

Really enjoyed more canters on him, yay!! No turning back now, highlight of my hack :D :D Hope for more next time, could tell he had had enough though and then on vid can see that tail swishing so it was ready to head home bless him.

Have to point out didn't realise the plaiting bit was being videoed or would have refrained from holding my niggly back so much lol. I looked like a wee penguin waddling about there but it did make me laugh :D :D

Skippysmum - mane does need levelling but some bits are so short if I pull it again probably will look more hogged in parts and worse. Hoping it will grow back a bit then will tidy him up :)
