My Riding Instructors dad goes to Ireland a couple of times a year and brings back horses to sell on. I've known the family, or at least they've known me, since I was a baby so I trust them with anything horsey, absolutely anything!
So anyway she rung me today to say he's got 2, out of the 9 horses he's brought back, Irish Sport Horse geldings, only 3yrs, both bright bay and at least 16.1hh. I didn't take any photos of them as they were both a bit nervy from the long journey and hadn't really settled yet, but they were absolutely stunning!! So beautiful, best I've seen since I've been looking. Neither of them are backed but in a way it thrills me at the idea of a blank canvas. Also I will be buying from someone who I 110% trust and is who I bought Cherry from! My RI also produces horses for HOYS so she really does know what she's talking about. But honestly they are gorgeous, real traditional event types with no warmblood in them.
I'm going to see them later in the week when they've settled a bit and will hopefully see them loose jumped. :)
Might be able to get pictures then too.
