Sorry if this tread is already started somewhere! But looking for some really warm long winter boots for wearing at the yard. But be fairly tough, as field is a good muddy walk away. So any suggestions?

i have some from cotton traders - they're not on the website yet but usually appear soon for £20. my first pair ended up splitting where your foot bends because I rode in them but my second pair are still going this winter (i sneak the occasional hack in them!)

they're very warm and really grippy which I like. the bottom part is like a welly and the upper is fleece lined suede with a zip, they're not long, probably about half way up your calf.
