Just a rant really. I'm trying so hard to work on my canter but there isn't a single flat bit of field on the yard so we end up speeding up down the hill, motorbiking round the bottom then nearly running out of steam at the top. I find myself either trying in vain to slow down and ending up pulling, or leaning forward in an attempt to speed up!
Oh for a flat surface!

I know exactly what you mean-my 'schooling area' -loose term that! is uneven and lumpy and sloped but it's the most level part of the field! I dream of a flat arena to school in properly-can do the balancing and muscle building when I'm out hacking!
