Do you get involved at endurance since regainig my confidence back big style I am all for this, Abbie is 16 though this maybe the factor here??? what do I do who do I contact, what do I need to do

have a look at sportendurance.co.uk, I only looked for the first time yesterday as it was talked about on this site. It seem fairly informal and there is lots of pleasure rides and general info, and it appears to be quite northern based!

You're not limited to going on rides only in Cumbria, either. I know of quite a few Cumbrian riders entering rides of the Dumfries branch, and vice versa, so there's plenty of choice. And you'd be able to take part in rides organised by other endurance branches, too.
