Oh that's dreadful.
If you haven't already seen it there's a website called
www.shetlandponyweb.com
You could post an announcement on there, in case anyone offers the ponies to a shetland stud. I think quite a few breeders use it.

Have you got the details yet, Shetlandpony.com has a stolen section to highlight these Ponies to users of the site, email Gerry Hart from the site, also user Shetland pony community sites, if you get details on here I'll flag them out to ones I know, they will spread them out in the Shetland Community, we have to make them too hot to handle, but has to as earlier as possibel for it to be effective.......
Know what I would do to the theiving B******s

HOW did they manage to get THREE out?
Were you field gates padlocked, how is the Yard situated etc.,?

Oh no, what a nightmare! I'd be so worried about them. With all the best will in the world, if someone wants to pinch something they will always find a way, security or no security. I padlock the field and stable but a padlock is easily picked or the chain damaged. 3 stolen shetties will be hard to keep hidden I imagine, fingers crossed that they turn up soon.

I hope they turn up safe, your poor YO must be frantic.
Where, roughly, in Berks are you? I wondered because I'm in Berks too.

Are they sure they've been stolen and not escaped?
I remember a pony was reported stolen last winter, so everyone was busy putting up notices, speaking to insurance company, police etc.
The pony had escaped and was found dead in a ditch the other side of the field it was 'stolen' out of.
If people had looked for the pony, they may have found it before it was too late :(.
Either way I wish the owner a speedy recovery of her Shetlands.
