Just saying hello!!

Hi everyone!

I've been a lurker on these boards for almost a year now :o and thought it was about time I got my brave up and actually started posting!!

I have a 15.1hh piebald cob mare called Clover and have recently taken on loan a 10.2 shetland x welsh mare called Kitty who is teaching my 6 year old daughter everything there is to know about ponies.

I was away from from the horsey scene for quite a few years until Nov 08 so this last year has been huge learning curve which I have to say without constantly refering to this board I probably wouldn't have got through!!

Anyway I'll try and add pics but I'm sure about all this technical stuff!!!

I think I've figured out who Clover is, and I assume the little one in the lovely rug is Kitty. Who is the other one??? I love the picture of the little girl kissing the pony's nose. Awww.

Clover is a sweetie....don't get me wrong she has her moments, typically bargie and cos I'm not big in the confidence department she does sometimes take advantage! but she's had her problems in the last six months and think its her attitude that keeps her going :rolleyes: We're not doing anything at the mo but fingers crossed she's on the mend so maybe some light hacking soon (she started with ringbone - lots of box rest/stress/food to keep her quiet led to lami - now the tail end of an abcess)

Kitty is ace such a character even with all the stress with clover lately she always manages to make me smile, definately one of those 'been there done it' 'no flies on me' type of ponies! the rug came with her btw its ace!

The last pony in the pictures is my yo's we borrowed her for my daughters first showing attempt before we got kitty, they had a brilliant day and both looked gorgeous but I would say that!!

To get the pics big you have to use photobucket.com and paste in your IMG code of your photo.

It's easy to do, even I managed it without help! I think there are some instructions in the Technical section.
