wow!
I've seen a few like this one. The horse tranny van :)
Usually though they are rear facing and the horses look out the back windows at you whilst on the motorway :)

I've got one myself :)
But mine's got a proper side ramp, a partition to separate the horses, has been reinforced and made with safety in mind, I'm not too sure you can say the same for that one. The ramp looks a bit dodgy, the horses are very tightly squashed togther, and how on EARTH would you go about fitting three ponies into it??:confused:

There are lots of good 3.5t conversions about, I'm not sure that's one of them though :D You'd be sailing pretty close to the weight limit with two 500kg cobs in there too.

Friend of mine has one of these, a converter Renault Trafficmaster - its absolutely fabulous and I really really really really want one.
She has the side load one and its all done kosher - travels a 14'2 and 15'2 chunky monkeys without any probs.
Im hoping the birthday fairy might bring me one next year - Santa said 'no, you're getting fencing instead' - damn - fencing may be practical but a box is more fun! I like the fact they are so easy to drive and especially reverse - Id be hopeless with a trailer

Theoretically they are easy to reverse, but I haven't quite perfected the art of it yet. I just can't get used to not having a rear view mirror :o:o. Still practice makes perfect or so they say .......... I've managed to not hit anything yet, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time
Does anyone know a good horsebox driving school, sort of like BSM but for numpty horsebox drivers :(

Rear view mirror or not it still is no comparison to reversing a trailer! At least it heads off in the direction you send it and doesnt jack knife!!!!!

I saw one near a friend's house and one at the municipal tip-pretty swishy! Much easier to manoeuvre!

Very true, I can't argue with that!
I hope you get one from either Santa or The Birthday Fairy, just let them know what a happy, happy girl it would make you and that you'd never ask for anything ever again ;)
