Just went on TO to keep up with things there and they have a post (now locked it seems) stating that we have all gone over there:rolleyes: and we dont post anything new on here:mad:

Now please, please dont turn this into a forum rivallary thing - but come on folks - pull your socks up - get posting - there seems to be plenty of us on here - so put your posts where you have put your money (literally;))

No problems with belonging to different forums - I do as others on here probably do - but it is up to us members to make this a lively and interesting forum to visit to encourage membership isnt it|?:confused:

Is it just me worried that this lovely site might just fizzle out through lack of effort in its (new set up)early days?:(

I think the problem is that they are comparing this NR to what is was previously and we all know the problems that NR experienced previously.

I love NR as it is just now. I feel I can get to know peoples stories rather than losing track of everyone is the 'chaos' of the form.

The posts are more personal and not just a quick statement.

TO and NR are different and more posts would be lovely, however I am not rising to the bait!!

I am enjoying NR and will continue to do so lol.

I wouldn't let it bother you, if TO is that fantastic, then why do they feel the need to keep checking what's happening on New Rider?

Just because they didn't want to/couldn't afford to pay a whole £10 a year :rolleyes::rolleyes: doesn't mean they have go off on one ...... I think NR is fine at the moment, it's not that dead, and at least we don't have to put up with loads of trivial threads such as 'my horse farted today', well you know what I mean :o

guess its to do with times as everyone wants to save a few pennies where they can! and to have access to similar for free will always appeal to folk. :D

Contrasna - its not a "them and us" situation. I'm on both forums. I prefer this one but that may be down to my age. I feel Trot on caters for younger users with too many OT threads for me.

I know you were banned from Trot On though which makes this sound as though you are stirring up things against it - which I'm sure you dont mean to do:).

We really dont need to be constantly comparing the boards. Everyone has different preferences. Its really not a competition.

NR is doing just fine - its a nice place to be just now - lets hope it continues to stay like this:D
