latley melody has been raluctant to take the bit when putting on the bridle she is fine when i ride her ect do you think she needs her teeth done? do any of you no what it could be if its not her teeth?

It could be her wolf teeth bothering her - they are easily removed but they have to be sedated so you would need a vet to do it, rather than a dentist as they aren't allowed to sedate. Your best bet is to call out a vet who is very good with teeth, and let him see what he thinks.

Getting vet out to check is a good idea, as if its not the teeth then they can help you find out what is causing it. but i get a horse dentist out if it is the teeth, they are so much cheaper than a vet doing them for you. I had the vet out to do molly's and it cost £80.00 this morning had horse dentist out to do cracker's wolf teeth and it cost me £20.00

hi thanks i dont really want to get a vet if not nessecary because they are expensive hopefully they only need filled/floated
ill get the dentist out and see what they say first
