I know the 'Braveheart' horse I think...she is a lovely little mare from a specialist stunt stables ('Stable Stars') down by Hull - if she is the one know she did the Guinness 'white horse' commercials as well! She is gorgeous but so sensitive that only her owner can ride her as she has a tendency to capriole if you so much as twitch a muscle :D
They do a lot of re-enactment (hence why I have ridden some of theirs) as well as the film work.

i had my first proper ride out on him today---about 45 mins along the country tracks with my friend dallas on her horse 'tilly'

tilly is very steady and was the ideal companion

we went outta the yard and within 5 mins were faced with a horse eating farm truck!!!!!!! Ted was in front of tilly and was gonna go past without help but he bottled out at the last minute---we had a little spin in a circle moment and then he stood quietly while tilly came past us and showed him it was ok--ted tucked himself in behind her and went past no bother---just a bit fast:0)

we then had a real good meander around the lanes--having a good look at everything---i just kept talking to him --he responds to walk-on and terrrrrot very well :)---- dallas must've been sick of the sound of my voice:)

on the way home we were met by a huge funny lookiing noisy yellow machine that's used for moving boulders--under an arched bridge---the noise was tremendous!!!!!!!! the bloke backed out and moved outta the way for us and ted and tilly went past him no bother--ted again picked up just a little speed--but only to a fastish walk and was very calm for such a young inexperienced neddie

i really feel good about him today - gonna store this memory away for when things don't go so well:)

Ali I'll let you know when the next in hand ride and drive show is next year. I think he would go far. He looks lovely. Oh and well done on your first proper hack with him.
