This is a copy of a post I sent to Tkeisha over on the General Board. For those Yankees (and other non-Brits)interested in purchasing Heather's new saddle, I've discovered that you can order the Thorowgood Griffin Heather Moffett saddle from Cam Equestrian (www.camequestrian.com) and they will ship it anywhere in the world. Ordering from the US you will not have to pay VAT tax, and the shipping air mail is reasonable (for me in NJ it will be about 40 pounds stirling). The customs will tax it at 2.8% which comes out to about $11.00--all in all you will get the saddle for about $435 US. It's a synthetic saddle, but the Thorowgoods are lovely, and the care is a snap. I am only waiting for my Sept. 1 paycheck to put in my order!
