Hello to all
Well My boyfriend and I have taken the plunge into buying a horse!!!!!
We have seen one and are going again to have another look on Wednesday.
We have decided to keep it grass kept.
If anyone has any tips, hints or what they were like with their first horse I would be really grateful for any advise.
I havn't slept for three days i'm really excited:D :D :D

Thank you for your reply
We have been riding for about three months and my 5 year old son has had about 5 lessons ( to be honest he's better than me LOL) and we thought that it was fantastic to have the lessons and the stables are very good about us helping but we really wanted the freedom and i don't mean this to sound bad but we had something to walk away from after the lesson ( i know how fortunate we are to be able to achieve this)
She is 6 years old, chesnut colour, her name is Bridget and we think she may be a thoroughbreed cross ( but knowing me thats way off beam)
But when i have some photos I will put some on the board, but she is gorgeous !!!!!!!:D :D :D
