Please could anyone advise me where I can buy a nice non-leather endurance bridle from. I have seen a Zilco (Australian) but have no idea who would stock these in the UK.

Libby's in Plymouth. However before you panic they do internet or mail order. 01752 255555. All the webbing tack in all the colours you could ever need My two live in it, leather is for best.

Maybe it's just my horse but beware, their sizing seems a bit strange. Lovely tack though, I have one of their competition bridles with the snazzy clips on:)

I know what you mean Yann - I bid and won a cob-full size endurance bridle on eBay and was really disappointed when it came as I absolutely loved it but it was nowhere near big enough - more like pony size! Someone called Rene has emailed me saying he can supply me with one and I am to send measurements - no idea who he is - obviously I must have found his details via a search but no idea where he is based!!!

Where did you get yours from? I was so impressed with it as it was really supple and soft and was in a lovely royal blue colour with the snazzy brass clips.

Hi Clairev.
Are you sure it was a Libby's bridle as their tack is either cob or full. To my knowledge they do not do a mixed size bridle. I have ben more than happy with their stuff, a smy bank manager will testify!:D

Mossy - no, it was a "Zirco" endurance bridle - Australian but made in Vietnam! They are made of this supersoft, supple synthetic leathery material in really bright colours with brass clip fastenings.
