Cliff Barnsby 7-series Omega GP saddle. Bought new for £985 two years ago but only used for 2 months. Kept indoors ever since.
This saddle was made by Barnsby to a template for my 17.2hh, high whithered Irish Sports horse. The Barnsby fitter said the wide saddle sat too low for his whither but the medium version pinched his shoulders. The end result is a sadlle which has a wide tree which has been professionally moulded by Barnsby to enable it to sit just a little higher - avoiding the whither whilst allowing movement for the shoulder. In real terms I suppose you would call it medium-wide but the photos show dimensions which will hopefully help.
The saddle is really lovely - beautiful soft, high quality leather with only the usual light marks where stirrup leathers and girth straps have been. It is otherwise in very good condition and comes with original Barnsby logo saddle cover.
This is a lovely deep seated saddle with big knee rolls which makes it ideal for jumping as well as flat work and the extended padding spreads the weight load on the horse's back preventing pressure points.
