Heather,
Is there any chance that you plan to do any clinics here in Ireland? I would be first in line! I have your book and your video and I constantly refer to both, but I would LOVE the opportunity to see, hear and experience your methods at first hand.

HI Danni,
I have many connections inn the North, having been married to an Ulsterman for 18 years, and went back last year to do some lecturing at the Pet and Animal Fair in Belfast, run by a NR member, Lesley, alias 'In Touch'. I was inundated with requests for clinics in the North, butjust haven't had time to do them this year. Could be tempted to the South as well, as I love Ireland, and the nice thing about horse people in general over there, is tbat even in the competition world, the fact that they haven't forgotten that it is supposed to be fun! In the horse world, the term 'great craic' takes on a whole new meaning!!!

Heather,
I am really thrilled to hear that you may run some clinics here in Ireland. I have no doubt that you would be given the traditional 'Cead Mile Failte' (One hundred thousand welcomes - pronounced Kayed Mee-le Fawl-che !!) I live in the West of the Country but I would be willing to travel to wherever you might hold your clinics. I'm quite sure that there are a lot more NR members from Ireland out there who, like me would relish the chance to benefit from your methods at first hand. And yes, you are right, horse-riding is fun (sometimes frustrating, but definitely always fun, and without doubt it is an addiction!). If it is not too much trouble, can you let us know via the NR message board or e-mail when you have definite plans to visit. Thanks again Heather.

I did indeed promise Lesley, and it will be to the North first! Have to be next year- not sure when yet, but I willtry to come. By the way, I have been talking to Beth Darall, who runs Bowen courses in Cheltenham. I have suggsested to her that her students, plus yourself, of course, as a qualified Bowen practitioner, train with Barry and Kay to fit my saddles. I had approached another Bowen tutor, but she seemed almost affronted by the idea. Beth is great, passionate about helping horses and humans, and I think will be a great help.
Will let you know when we are able to start running saddle fitting courses.

I would not be in the least affronted - only too pleased in fact! Glad you have made contact with Beth, she is great, hope her first courses have gone well. I have done more training with Jock Ruddock and hope to start running basic Equine Touch courses next year. I have had such good results recently, it is really great, everyone should learn Bowen. Only thing is, I am working 3 days a week and running round the country after clients 3 more and at shows the other day - just as well Helen has taken over my horse, I barely have time to see her.
The riding club I am working for would be delighted to host a clinic or a seminar, and I could organise one in Enniskillen, and if anyone else wanted to get in touch with me we could co-ordinate dates etc. Just tell me when!
