I'm now riding for an hour a week (yay!). Today I was riding Leon. I think I've told you all before about him. He is about 10yrs and 15hh. I don't know what breed, and I'n not sure about his colour either. I think he's a type of chestnut, but also maybe a roan, as he has white hairs mixes in with his coat, but his back socks (which are white) sor of disintigrate into spots until they reach his belly. I'll have to take photos next week so you can see. Anyway... he is a 'cuddly' horse, and one which I trust not to bite.
We had a good (but tough) lesson (I found out a lot about the feeding and boarding of horses here in Switzerland - expensive!) and afterwards after I have untacked and everything I went back to see him (to feed him carrots!). So I was feeding as stroking and gave him a really good scratch on his withers, as I was doing the other side he started to groom me! :D :D :D I was so pleased! I scratched a bit more, and he just stood there with his lower lip aquiver. He is so sweet!:p I hope I can ride hm again next week, and he might even get an apple!
