I am sitting with an ear to ear grin that you could light a candle off. I have sat on Connie and suggested with a very gentle leg suggest, not even a squeeze, and my voice that she walk on and she did. We turned by weight aid. No reins therefore no conventional steeering. She was as good as gold, Hubby was by head reassuring and she was great! I was more nervous than she was. The intention was to just lean again but she was so relaxed we girded up our loins and went for it. No reins, no neckstrap, no saddle, just a handfull of luxuriant redhead mane. She was brilliant. I am extatic.
A bit of an anticlimax really, Moss was also brilliant on two reins and a pelham, that was a first too. Wish us luck we are hopin gto ride with the Dartmoor Drift tomorrow rounding up the wildies
