Ebony's first show.

Hiya everyone, have just got a new digital camera and tired it out in the best way at a horse show. I took a friends horse (ebs) as callie is lame :( It was ebony's first show and at 5/6yrs she was a star! We came away with 4 rosettes. Fourth in equitation (after a huge buck on the first stride of canter followed by 5 strides, i gave up on canter, bearing in mind i have never ridden her before!) Fourth in Ridden Horse (she has never jumped and only after entering ring did i realised we had to! she did a lovely test canter included!!! but i decided not to jump her for the first time in a show class at the end of a long day! So consequently we got placed down) Fifth in Mountain and Moorland and a Special in horse that the Judge would most like to take home (everyone loves ebs) I am attempting to post some piccies but not sure how, any tips appreciated!!!!!!!!

We have lots of equitation as Ebony's owner's lad was in charge of the camera lol I did have one of the show field very close up if ya get my drift lol! Steven's ace.

Very would be a more acurate description of her width. she is like a barrel n her saddle slips coz she is so round n i spent most of my first class attempting to stay in the middle lol. She is especially wide considering my horse is a tb mare n reall fine lol. ebs is a bit lame at the mo coz she has bruised her hoof but callie's fine now. they are taking it in turns lol. horses rule!

Hiya everyone.
Darling Ebony was sold last week, she went back to her previous home, who already had a new home lined up for her. There is someone out there who is getting a really great mare. Jane had two horse and its hard work looking after two on your own so ebonys moved to pastures new :(. Jane's other horse is now getting double the tlc lol, which she deserves as she has had a bad time at some point and can stilll be a bit nervous, but shes brill too. Neway I miss her too bits and would have loved to have her on loan but you cant have everything lol.
