I have got another jumping question. When I jump lets say three jumps spread out over a ring, I tend to lean forward in between jumps. Also, once over the jump in the recovery I barely touch the saddle after the jump. I know the term "sitting deep" is not really appropriate, but I'm just floating in the saddle, with no contact. I only have this problem when I'm jumping. Do you think that a lot of jumping would help or should I work on something? This is all at the canter. Thanks everyone.

Depending on the behaviour of the horse, the last thing you need to be doing is sitting deep when jumping. This is a difficult thing to advise on when you cannot see exactly what you describe. But I would have thought that a balanced hover between fences in a jumping position was okay. As you land you should be taking up the movement with your legs and not landing bump in the saddle. As long as you are brushing the saddle with your seat everything sounds fine.
