I would like to know what an ideal size for a stable is. As well as what agood stable should have and what should you ABSOLUTELY have in your stable

What do you think the best type of horse to get and why?

Stalls, Tack Room, Feed Room (Roadside sand containers are good too!), Cross Ties, Horses of course...
If you're talking about items actually inside? That depends on what you need. Buckets are a must, and the rest is too much to name, lol!

I love Thoroughbreds because they're so energetic and zippy (Usually). I also love them for their size, and come in just about every color. I also like them because of this. Thoroughbreds excel in just about everything, and are amazing jumpers.

Minimum 12ft x 12ft for a horse & smaller for a pony. Remember that if you get a stable for a pony you will grow & probably want something bigger.

inside my stable there is a ring to tie up a seperate ring for hay nets a water bucket an over the door feed bucket and bedding

i have a hanoverian because they are lovely movers can do most things and are a great size for big old lanky me lol

i think my stable is about 14x14 but gymy is 18hh so needs it
thats about all you need inside a stable as too many things lead to accidents

outside on the interer wall i have a rug rail and a saddle horse to rest my things on before tacking up

My stable is about 12 x 14 feet. It has a water bucket, a hay net and a hay rack (for when the YO takes all the hay nets away every so often for a week of disinfecting!). I did have one of those plastic horse ball things so Molly doesn't get bored, but she doesn't understand how to use it!!

I like cobs (see my website!) - they are generally quite steady and sensible - good for less experienced riders. And I love all that hair!!!
