If you are appalled about the live export of horses and want to try and do something about it, there is an online petition on the ILPH site if you want to support them.

Really hope they can get enough names to stop horrible live exports. :(

Yes so do I. I have put this up on the BHS site as well, so lots of people will see it on these sites.

good thinking DebO - not sure why I didn't think of posting this info :o

I was sent the link a couple of weeks ago and forward it to the members of the equestrian club at work (approx 200 members). One of those people have forward it onto her local club with another 300 members - so that's 500 signatures:D

Also, don't forget to send the letter to Margaret Beckett folks (copy on ILPH website)

Excellent, although I still cannot understand why they don't make it more public for those without horses?

I did write to them and suggest this, they reckon Anglian TV did a 30 mins broadcast, and due to limited funds they are restricted, I'm sure members would be happy to donat a £5 or something.

So it's up to us to spread the word I guess.

I received a leaflet through the post, also mentioning the online petition. Well I suddenly thought if they gave all their members a few extra we could put up at local notice boards in villages etc.

I think the general public would be horrified, and the ILPH might have a bit more support behind them.
