Hi all I'm really upset I cannot go ahead with my exmoor colt as they were unable to find a suitable one :( while they were in Exmoor.
So i guess I will take others advice and I'll buy a new forest, I've had 3 before and they were all lovely (2 are now show ponies but the other was put to sleep due to a brain tumour due to being beaten round the head, (they were rescues))
So when I've found one I'll post photos of him/her hopefully the right one will turn up soon.

Yay! New Forests rule! :D What kind of age range are you going for? www.millersfordforestponies.co.uk have Newfies ranging from weanlings to unbroken 5 year olds. They are lovely, friendly people, and always willing to offer advice and help :)
Also check out www.nfed.co.uk classifieds - they have a lot of weanlings at the moment on there...
Good luck! :D

hi showjumper I'm looking for a youngster under 3 years old, I've actually already contacted millersfordponies as I'm intereseted in a couple of colts they've got and I have also seen a yearling on nfed.co.uk which I like the sound of so fingers crossed one of them will be the right one.:D :D

Millersford are really wonderful! :) I went there last year when I was looking and they were patient, and showed me as many horses as possible, even taking me and my mum out in the car to see some slightly further away :) I can't recommend them enough, even though I didn't buy from them in the end.

Hiya I just bought a New Forest Filly Yearling from Millersford a month ago she has come up really sweet is easy to catch and rug now we are really happy with her especially as their description of her said she was very sharp. Also If you have any problems with one you buy they will help you with it or take it back if they are major problems. I know that when I went a month ago to look at the yearlings that they had a gorgeous Iron Grey colt who is really big already, stocky too he was really sweet and a gorgeous chestnut with a flaxen mane and tail. Good luck let me know what you end up with
