Hi all,
Just to let you know that the vacancy for a working student has already been filled. Good old Sue Carnell produced her out of the proverbial top hat, and Vicki statrs with us on November 10th. She is already a nice little rider and rode Fanta very well yesterday despite never having done any advanced work, so I look very much forward to working with her- thanks Sue!!

I'm really pleased for you Heather, and I bet Vicki is delighted.............I just wish that good old Sue Carnell could have waved her magic wand so that both Kerry and I could both become working students - alas I think that this task is even beyond Sue's capabilities!!!!!!!!!!

Phew! Glad that is sorted Heather- good old Sue!
Like Kerry's Partner, I would love Sue to wave her majic wand at HC and I.... but I just know that would be beyond even her talents!
Somehow I can't see an experienced novice sack of spuds and a green and sometimes naughty and very hairy little cob doing anything even vaugely resembling lateral work! Except by accident of course!:D :D
Congratulations and good luck to Vicki!!:D

Glad you sorted your problem.
I endorse what the others have said. I wish Sue could wave a long distance wand and ****** turn me and Pégaso into your working students...
Good luck to your student. She is lucky, though.:)

Hi Heather,
Pégaso is already moved since 5 weeks. He is near Torres Vedras, a bit further up north towards Nazaré.

Well done heather - one lucky young lady indeed. Just an update on Conn - she has had her pelvic done since you saw her, and deep neck MUsedation. She then decided she wanted eight weeks off and would show me the benefits of insurance! Having done all that she is fantastic - relaxed, even sided, and totally sweet.

Hi Maria,
Torres Vedras- not that far - where we turn off to cut across country to Luis's!!! Think I might be able to make it there, maybe the Saturday the 15th?
Love to see Pegaso at last!! Had an email from Jan to say that you would be going with them to Gologa, so hope to see you there too- Remmelt and I are going on the 8th.

Hi Heather,
Brilliant. I´ll be at Golegã on the 9th and 10th. As for a visit to our yard, 15th is fine by me. Ann and Gina are very friendly. You'll feel like at home.

Hi Heather!
Both Ana and me will be at Golegã Saturday 8... as usual we are bound to bump into each other :).
By the way, Ana has started with lessons at Luis'! Her teacher is Sérgio and she is very excited about it. Needless to say, Alcainça is forgotten ;)... Meanwhile I should go with her one of this days to speak with Sérgio, to know if it is possible for me to have ocasional long-reinning lessons! Since I started with fencing lessons this past month, free time is becoming more and more of a luxury! As if having a horse was not bad enough... I still had to go and find something else to became excited about! Not to mention... something else in which to spend loads of time and money!! Maybe I can always get both things together and start slashing watermelons with a sabre from horseback! :D
Unfortunatly meeting you at V.F. Xira is not going to be possible... I'm out of hollydays to spend so I can't take a day off :(. I think Ana is in the same position, but I'll let her know. She is having her lessons at Luis' at friday evenings...
I hope to see you, chapsi and the rest of the gang at Golega!
Pedro
