What do you think of my latest Highland? She is a ten year old mare and is simply gorgeous. Until recently she was living on an allotment in Teeside.

Thank You!
She has settled in really well and is a lovely 'person'. We have already been for several hacks and trailered to the local country park.
She was a bit of a gamble and appeared out of the blue really, but I am so glad we went to see her. A friend of a friend tipped me off, and I knew she was going to be in the paper next day, so off I went, there and then.
Her sire is Ben Nevis of Croila if that means anything to anyone.

We have had a tough year with our ponies as our beautiful grey boy Duncan had to be put to sleep in July, age only 14. We had him since five and he was one of those unforgettable character ponies, always really full of himself. My daughter adored him and is devastated.

Then my lovely Erry had a major health scare and went down with the dreaded laminitis. She is sound now, not yet back in work though. All our plans went out of the window.

So Abbey has brought some real happiness back here. Lets hope it continues.Erry in long reins (http://groups.msn.com/UpSaddle/gillbpics.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=14060)

Mad as a hatter but lovely all the same that now takes the collection up to 6 (plus the two foals we sold yesterday).

Congrats on your new adition. I don'thave any Ben Nevis blood in out lot but it looks like a good blood line
