I had quite a good day at a dressage comp last weekend and managed to get 4 more points to add to the 21 my horse already has.
I even tried a test the grade above prelim and got 55.22% so was quite pleased with that.
I had a minor hiccup when I missed one of my time slots because the organisers had changed the arena number and I did not realise and was hanging around the other arena wondering where the judge was and why they were running so late. When I realised I was lucky enough that the judge took me and another confused rider in her tea break.:)
Usually Mum comes with me and helps with all that sort of stuff but I suppose now I am over 40 I should look after myself:p
I have not seen my dressage sheets yet as the classes did not finish until 5pm and my last test was at 2.10pm so I did not want to hang around but hopefully my friend managed to get them for me.
The results are not on the internet yet so I don't even know where I came in the classes and as there were only a few marks up when I left I only know I wasn't last!:D
Then I got home and did my usual trick- after saying I was going to have stress free weekends until Xmas as daughter is eventing and show jumping - I had decided I was not going to do any more dressage comps until 2004 so what do I do get home and send off entries to two more days- both are 1hour 45 min drives away.
Not brave enough to tell husband yet- he thinks I do too much and will get too tired but I have written them on the calendar so I will just spring them on him closer to the dates.:D
