what do you think about heathers book? Do you reccomend it? Is there anything in it about breaking a young horse?
What are the main subjects that the book covers?

HI Elle,

The book covers all aspects of riding, from basic position to lateral work and how to ride all of the movements. It does not cover training of the horse- that will be for the next book!

Go to amazon.co.uk for a selection of reviews.

It gets you thinking about riding from the perspective of your effect on the horse. Very refreshing, very different and, once you get your head round it, very obvious. As Heather has said and Wally echoed "How could I be so blind" My two equine friends definitely approve, as do others who I ride occasionally .
Thankyou Heather.
I await the next book with interest.

I just read the chapter about getting your horse to get its hindquarters underneath it. I'm super excited to go ride monday and try it out!
A lot of the book goes over my head, but I've only been riding for a month or so now. The more I ride though, the more the book makes sense to me.
